I had a lap rny on this date also. I have lost 47 pounds since the surgery (plus 15 pounds during the 2 weeks before surgery-for a total of 62 pounds). You are absolutely right on track with everyone else. I have tracked my food, exercise and weight on www.fitday.com and have come to the realization that it is easier to only weigh myself twice a month and I have even plotted to find my best days to do it. I walk during my lunch at work for 45 minutes every weekday and tend to exercise at home up to 5 times a week. My weight loss has been drop...stay...drop...stay, but when I stay is when I measure the inches. Since the last time that I measured, I have lost 30 inches and 3 pant sizes so far. Please try not to get too hung up in the scale or comparing yourself to others. All it will do is get you upset and frustrated from time to time. Good luck with it and you are doing fine...good job on the weight loss

and I lost 14 lbs the first month and 16 the next month which ended just a couple days ago. So that makes 30 lbs in two months, not near as much as you have.....want to trade places? Smiling here........Katherine

My surgery was on 2/16 and I am down 48 lbs. That was three weeks ago. I started out at 328 and now I am about 269. I am excited about the whole ordeal. Your body has to have time to catch up. Stay off the scale for a while too. Your clothes should be fitting a lot looser these days. You are doing well. Keep up the good work! Jaunine

Hi My surgery was also 2/17/04 . Since surgery I've lost 62 lbs as of today. But I think I had more to lose than a lot of you, I started at 410, lost 26 lbs before surgery and 62 after. As long as you're doing the things you're supposed to be doing, you'll lose the weight. Good luck. Dennis
