There are days I do good with my water so I don't worry as much about that but my vitamins......... I am looking for something else. I take Centrum chewable and they are nasty. As far as protein I eat all that so that is good. Excercise? I walk twice a day during my breaks. I could do better with all these things. But I take it day by day. So far my loss is 46lbs.

Your loss is great to me. I think day by day is a very good attitude. I'm learing to do that too. I had a few bad, self doubting weeks, but I feel better now and know it is coming off. It might not melt off and I might have to exercise a bit, but it will come off. Debbie -39

lets start with the good stuff. protein doing well with that. Probably only because i drink a protein shake (21 grams) in the morning while getting ready for work and another about an hour before I go to bed. I eat nothing but protein at this point as far as food. Turkey, fish, shrimp, chicken....if i want some veggies i eat those on weekends as sides with my protein. water...some days good some days bad. i have not been able to drink anything bu****er for the last few weeks. can't do watered down gatorade or crystal light..gives me baaad headache....i have the little water jug that is 25 oz. i have to be very regimented about it. Such as I will get to work about 7:30 and fill the glass up and say ok i will have this finished by 9:00. then i wait the 1/2 hour, eat a little protein, wait 1/2 hour and start on the 2nd 25 oz.....LOL! it sounds so controlling reading what i just wrote but i have to do this to make sure i get it in. Exercise---okkkk we can skip that part..hahahahhahaa. seriously i am getting better about it. i don't want to use bad excuses but i still have some serious breathing problems and use an inhaler prn. i walk on my treadmill but have trouble building up any endurance or longer times due to my not being able to breath!!!!! i am hoping once i have another 30 or 40 pounds off this will ease somewhat. that is my story and i am sticking to it!!!!LOL!

Hello Debbie Protein is great . . . Exercise could be better (but couldn't it always) - still 3x a week . . . Water also needs some improving - I was doing well when I drank the propel water; however, when I went to see my doc to find out why I wasn't loosing fast - he told me that I need to cut those out . . . too many carbs or something. So I'm back to crystal lite & kool aid. I discovered that I loooove the crystal lite sunrise (especially because I couldn't drink orange juice pre-op because it was like battery acid with my gerd); however, I drank like 90 oz of it all day long & then when I ate dinner & got some food stuck - when the food came back up - so did all of this horrific gosh awful tasting acidic stuff . . . needless to say - I need to pratice moderation more - maybe only 1 glass a day or something. Debbie, Honestly I have a hard time getting all of my protein in. I have tried many different types of protein drinks and I can not tolerate them. I have found some protein bars that are not too bad but still a little hard to get down. I am better about the water - but usually still working on it late at night. If I could just get into a better routine with it... Exercise is great! 3 months ago I would have never said that! I go to the gym at least 3 days a week and walk on the treadmill. I also walk outside on the days I don't make it to the gym. I think I need to increase my gym days but just keep making excuses Any suggestions for increasing protein from you all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Liz

Protien and calories are hard for me. I keep track on Fitday.com and that has helped me get to my daily goals a little better. I just am so not hungry and have had some trouble with vomiting over the last month or so. Water is great. Although, I can't stand just plain water. I have to have some kind of flavor in it. Strange for me since I have loved water my whole life. Exercise could be better and this month is my month to get on the ball... literally. I have purchsed a stability ball, some resistance bands and a couple dvd's. Hopefully things will go well with that. -Sarah down 42 pounds since 2/24/04
