I'm getting my 64 oz and then some. I haven't found anything I can't do now, but I am 2 1/2 months out. I know I prefer water over walking, and weightlifting to jumping around (bad knees), but I can do them.

We had surgery the same day!!! I'm down 25 lbs for a total of 75 lbs since last year. Right now just walking, but was released to start riding my exercise bike and use the pool this week. Doctor said neither before 2 months post-op. Yes, I get in 64 oz of "fluids" a day. Mary

Kay Dee Definitely doesn't have to be water. Was told that it had to be caffeine free to count as fluids. So I do sugar free snow cones, Propel Water, crystal light, sometimes broth (not normally tho), V-8 juice, tomato juice and water. Water is my primary by choice, but the others help to provide variety. Herbal tea (no caffeine in it) or decaf ice tea or decaf regular tea should work too. I'm a big fan too of Barbara Thompson's book ... Weight Loss Surgery: Finding the thin person hiding inside you. On Pg 187 she has written: Drink Water - Be sure to drink at least 64 ounces of water, or non-carbonated, caffeine free liquid per day. Do not drink carbonated beverages. Mary
