A Very Hungry Day!!

I am having a very hungry day!!....UGHHHH!!! It seems like once a week, I have a day where I am just soooooo hungry!!! Is this happening to anyone else? I was totally not hungry Friday afternoon, saturday, sunday and Monday, then, it crept up on me and today........HUNGRY. Not that i'm eating alot, I just feel hungry. For breakfast, I had, yogurt with Kashi, golean crunch cereal on top. Didn't finish the whole yogurt, lunch was a slice of bread (toast) with lunch meat and cheese w/1/2 can diet pepsi. Is this only happening to me............I feel hungry, but if I eat, I can't eat....so I don't!!! But I feel very hungry. Not sure why this happens every so often....maybe lacking something??? HELP. Tracie, I don't know if this will help any, but I put all of my food for the whole day in my lunch box. I bought some 1/2 cup gladware bowls and pack 80 to 90 grams of protein and all the accessories into that lunchbox. I know that if I eat the whole thing, then I am getting enough protein. It seems like so much food and I try to eat 6 meals a day (10-15 grams of protein each) so that it is not so much at once. I do substitute things once I get home from work though. Typically, I pack 1/2 c. slivered ham or tuna salad (fat-free miracle whip), 2 cheese slices, 1 or 2 low-carb tortilla shells (they have 4 grams of protein), 1/2 c. refried beans or peanut butter, 1/2 c. cottage cheese or sometimes string cheese, 1 serving of triscuit crackers (4 grams protein). I mix and match how I eat the food. Sometimes I will eat the meats and cheeses with the crackers or in the tortillas. I also eat prunes for breakfast. At some point, I am going to have to get serious about eating more vegetables, but so far they have not been my stomach's favorite foods. To compare what you are eating to what I am eating, it may justify your hunger-I never feel hungry, I am eating to save my hair and muscle (glad to report that all the hair is still here-but commonly will start loosing some at 3 month mark). Yesterday was my 8 week anniversary and I have lost 57 pounds so far. Hope this helps or makes you feel better, Dorothy 325/268/165 5'8", 32 years old

some days are going to be worse than others. you know, it's the same as before, who knows why our bodies do what they do...? try to pinpoint the why/where/emotion of the hunger... i get hungry or eat when i am alone & bored. it's normal. we just need to see it for what it is. have something to drink or go for a walk, pick up a book. whatever you do...

I am no expert but with the cereal and bread you have carbs. Carbs will make you hungrier. Maybe that is it???? Try more protein. Joanne
