Very slow process!!!!
My surgery was Feb 18. I have lost 40 pounds. Reading the posts, I see we are all a lot alike. I try to exercise a little. I know that it needs to be much much more. As far as protein, I don't count it. But I do try to make my meals mostly protein. I eat the protein first, then the veggies then the carbs. What makes me ashamed is the fact that I have a terrible sweet tooth. I am making progress on it every day. For instance at work I will take cheese or cut up fruits or veggies to munch on instead of candy. But trust me, I still eat sweets. Not nearly as much as before. I was going to say we, but I think it is just me, that I am going to have to train myself to not eat those things in baby steps. I was a terrible snacker before and I am learning to limit snacks and make them healthier.
thank you God that I'm not alone.....(not that I wish this on anyone else, it's just nice to know I'm not alone).. I too have been a slow loser, for my scales to stand still for a week or two at a time is nothing new to me... It been 9 weeks and 2 days since my surgery and I'm just now hitting a 46 pounds loss. Everyone keep telling me that's good, but I want it gone yesterday..... Let's just keep up the good work of tabing along at the pounds one at a time and our day will come, we'll see....
Much love
