YIPPEE...IT WASN'T SERIOUS
Well everything went well at the doc's friday. He told me that the burning sensation I posted about the other day, was my body's way of reacting to the shifting of weight from the weight loss and the fact that I am moving around and standing a little straighter. Boy am I glad. Since I do suffer with sciatica and herniated disc problems, it's not really uncommon. If it persist I will be goiing to a back doc. For today, everything is beautiful. I lost another 14 pounds. I will not be getting on any other scales. I've been on 3 other scales and none of them were what my doc's was. I was so confused But with 46.3 pounds gone in 7 weeks, I will not complain. Well, hang in there my wls family and thanks for all you concern and replies. God bless! :
Hi Evelyn!
I'm glad it wasn't serious and you can rest your mind now. Hey, we have the same surgery date! You are doing wonderfully with your weight loss. I know what you mean about different weights on different scales. According to my scale at home, I've lost 43 lbs. According to the surgeon's scale in St. Paul, I've lost 36 lbs. According to my surgeon's scale in Maplewood (they have 2 different offices), I've lost 38 lbs. I'm going to go by my scale at home since that's the one I weighed on the morning of surgery.....besides, it tells me I've lost more than the other two! Keep up the good work and good luck at your back dr. appt. if the problem keeps occuring. Take care!
