Stricture???

I had also had a stricture and had a procedure to relieve it about one month after my surgery(2/19/04). It was an out-patient procedure and I didn't have any pain. I was able to eat a little and drink alot more after that. I hope that things get better for you and be encouraged! Tomeka

Kate, I had surgery on 2/11/04 and have developed the same problem. I am scared to eat around people because if the food gets stuck I will have to go and vomit. I am going to make an MD appt. also. Let me know what happens with you. Elaine Floyd

Hi, Elaine. I had a scope done on friday and they did not find any stricture but the physican said that food may be just sitting in in my pouch not moving as it should. he gave me a prescription for reglan to help with the empting of my stomach. hope it works. i hope you are feeling better as well. kate
