37lbs in First Month
Hello everyone, I went and had my one month post op Dr. visit yesterday and everything is looking good. I have now lost forever 37lbs, I started at 349 and now down to 312. I still do not crave anything to eat, who would of figured that a month ago. For all that read this and are thinking about having the surgery done or have had it down within the past few day's hang in there. The first ten day's were the hardest for me after surgery. I was addicted to food and I had to break the habit so I got a lot of help from my Dr. I can now take my family thru McDonalds or some other fast food joint and it doesn't bother me. I even cooked the family a big meal the other night and watched them eat it, they all felt guilty about eating in front of me. Well hang in there everyone and have a great weekend.

Hi Greg. What a wonderful accomplishment....37 lbs. the first month! You should be very proud of yourself! The other big accomplishment you made was to be able to drive through McDonalds and not have it bother you. Like you said, who would have thought that a month ago? Keep up the good work and stay strong!

Greg, you are doing GREAT!!!! Each step in this journey is an accomplishment and you have done sooo well. My husband and I eat together and it feels good to have the small portion and feel satisfied. We have gone out to eat with friends too. Sometimes I get a little something, other times I just ge****er and socialize. It is really a good feeling to be in control. Mary
Greg: What a great thing to be able to report. Congratulations on your Mcdonalds experience. But most of all, I am proud to hear you've accepted your food addiction and have taken back your power. That is the same process I've gone through and it is truly liberating. For me, this experience is all about taking back my power and saving my life. It sounds like you're well on your way. Congratualtions on a job well done, and keep up the good work. God bless, Bob.
