And doing pretty darned well. My energy level is really returned. I have lost 35 lbs. The weight loss has started to slow now and I have been at the same weight for almost a week... kinda disappointing. I am going to gym at least 5 times a week and walking for 30 mins.

Try not to be disappointed, your body is just taking a little bit of time to readjust. Keep up with your exercise, water, and protein and it will start coming off again soon I'm sure. You really have done well with the weight loss and exercise. Congratulations. Mary

Wow! You are doing all the right things and losing well. I'm glad to hear your energy is returning--maybe mine is coming back some time too! Your body is probably totally in shock, wondering what you are doing to it! It is trying to hang on to every ounce of mass it can, but your exercise and persistence will nudge it into loss mode once again--just hang in there. I bet if you measure, you are losing inches while you are not losing weight. Odd, but true. Great job! Joy

Doesn't it feel great? Keep up the good work, I have gone through the plateau thing too, remember that your body usually loses in waves. You may have a real big loss and then stay there for a while and another big loss and stay, it is normal and try to not get discouraged. I think of it as the weight goes down and then the inches go down, then the weight, then the inches. You are still losing fat and that is what counts, keep up the exercise, you are doing fantastic!!!!

Wow Christine!!!! 35 lbs in 4 weeks that is super! Don't measure your success by how much you lose each week...instead measure it by how successful you are at making the right changes in your life to get yourself healthier....Get out your tape measure and check out how many inches you have lost....notice how your clothes are fitting you...those are the true measure of your success...as you lose the fat your body is building muscle and remember that muscle is heavier than fat. Keep up the great work!!! Carol Lynne in PA

Thank you all for the wonderful messages and great support! I just got kinda down when that scale stopped budging and now that it is moving again I am feeling better. It certainly was helpful to hear from you all! Thanks again! Chris
