Wow, it sure has been difficult, but already I can see a difference. I have lost 25 lbs, and it is really showing in my face and neck. One of my big problems has been very itchy skin on my stomach, and not just near the insicion (sp?). Any suggestions?

Hey there! I too am three weeks out and have lost 25lbs! For the itchy skin I use cocoa butter. someone told me she used it and it also helped with her sagging skin. So as cheap as it is, it's worth a try. I personally cannot stand the smell, but it is a good moisturizer.

I had shoulder surgery about 15 years ago and my surgeon told me to use cocoa butter on the scar so that it would blend in better with my skin. I think it worked well. I did not even think about that until I saw your post. Guess I am going out to get some cocoa butter, my incisions itch also. Thanks, Dorothy

Congratulations on your weight loss. As long as the incision is completely closed, you should be able to use body moisturizing lotion. Vitamin E oil over the incision should help too. Again, only use if incision is completely sealed/healed. Mary
