Here we are, counting the days and weeks since our surgeries! Congrats to all of us. We'll be counting yearly anniversaries in no time...every one of us successful and healthier. Peace to you all, Rusty

Rusty, it does seem impossible that we are on the losing side now. I thought my surgery date would never get here. LOL Hoping the best to everyone too. Mary

I know! Isn't it crazy to be the ones that are already through instead of waiting! I am down 25lbs and at first when I saw the post yesterday about the girl being down50lbs at 3 weeks I was a little discouraged, but heck, I couldn't have lost 25lbs this fast without the surgery!

True, Stacy. I think that will be a difficult part of all this...to remember we got here for health reasons, not a weight loss race. Some folks have a lot more to lose, some have more physical limitations, others have younger bodies and therefore higher metabolic rates, etc. I have a difficult time with wanting to hop on the scales...but I remind myself in the morning, as I peel off that CPAP mask and look at the skin it's tearing off the bridge of my nose, that one of the many reasons I am putting up with problems eating, etc. is to get rid of the blasted thing! I hope all of our health problems are improving and will completely disappear eventually...no matter how much weight we must lose sooner or later. Have a good day! Cheers, Rusty
