-29 lbs since surgery 9 days ago!

Hi everyone! I went back to the surgeon yesterday for a checkup (8 days post op) and was shocked to see the scale saying I had lost 29 lbs already! I am finally and forever out of the 400's. I was so happy, and then I went home and cried. This has been one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. I am happy but sad (to let food go) at the same time. I hear it gets better. Hi, Congratulations!!!!!! I am 4 days post op I hope i am loosing weight i can't wait to see at my post op appt. and i am sore and not hungry. I am tired of sleeping on my back it is sore. I have a hard time walking but i am forcing myself and breathing into that machine. I wish you alot of success on your journey~ Jill

HI,IM SO PROUD OF YOU ,,,THATS GREAT 29 LBS WOW....I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN IM 15 DAYS OUT AND 26 LBS LIGHTER AND FINALLY MY SCALE WILL READ ME IM OUT OF THE 300,,,,I NEVER THOUGHT,,,THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS FOR ME TO I LOVED FOOD AND STILL DO AND I NEVER NEW HOW MANY FOOD COMMERCIALS R ON TV TILL YOU CANT EAT IT..BUT WE WILL GET THROW THIS I KNOW WE WILL...TAKE CARE BYE..GOOD LUCK

That is wonderful! I too was shocked at weigh in. On day 8 I had lost 17 lbs. Ya hoo! Could not believe that we could loose that much weight in one week. I was having a hard time with the food commercials tho. Once I was increased to phase 3, things are a lot better. A little more freedom is allowed in the food choices.

Congrats! I felt the same way when I saw that I had lost 20. This surgery is a God send for sure! Good luck! I dropped 3 pants sizes too!
