Hello All my Family, I am three weeks post op and feeling great other than small things like nausea from sinuses draining on my stomach and thirst. I am always thirsty, but I am able to finally get in about 16- 20 oz. of any liquid a day. I wonder if you all are doing the same. I had surgery on February 3, 2004, and I am moving along very well. I don't like the after-taste of the Flinstones Complete, but I take them anyway. Any ideas of what I can do to increase my liquids, please let me know.

Regina, I also had my surgery on the 3rd of February. I have lost 24 pounds. I also stay thirsty. I keep a bottle of water with me always. I don't like the taste of the vitamins either, but I just wa**** down with water. I have noticed that sweet tea and coke just don't taste good anymore. So, all I drink now is water. I have been walking for two weeks now and can really tell a difference. I stay tired, but the doctor said that would happen for a while because of having major surgery. I wish you the best of luck.

I am 2 weeks postop and I am doing a whole lot better than I ever thought that I ever would. I am drinking more water, but not as near as much as pre-op. It will take time to get all of your water in...so just keep a bottle of water with you, just like you are carrying your purse with you. I am so happy for you. I am down two pants sizes already. God is good!
