Any info on how to shower while protecting the drain is needed.

Hey there....I had a JP drain also but my dr told me to let the soap and water hit it so that way the opening where the drain is coming out of stays clean. I was never told I needed to protect it in the shower. Check with your dr. Helen

I cleaned mine with saline. When I got in the shower I covered it with a plastic sandwitch bag to keep it from getting wet. Hope that this helps.
