it gets better every day

Hi, My name is Mary and this is the first I have posted. I am one day past 2 weeks out and I am doing great. I was at St Lukes in Pheonix and Dr. Zahn was my surgeon. My surgery was on Tuesday and I was home Thursday. I was thrilled as I had the open surgery and expected to be in the hospital for at least 4 days. I can't say enough good things about DR. Zahn and his staff and the operating room staff they were excellent. The staff on the floor was outstanding. There was a few new workers that were not up to speed on the after care of this type of surgery that is why it is important to be informed so you know when something is not right with your care. I go see Dr. Zahn on 3/1 and I am looking forward to seeing how well I am doing and how much weight has come off. If I am honest I am also looking forward to something besides creamed soup etc. required for the three weeks post-op. I hope ham salad will be a food I will be able to eat.I will catch you all later on the thinner side.
