HI everyone. I am an RN in South Dakota and am trying to recover. I had the open RNY 150cm separated procedure. I am home, struggling with nausea, some pain yet My stools are yellow and very foul smelling. Has anyone elso had this problem? I struggle with eating/drinking too fast/too much. I feel MUCH better when I eat slow and drink slow. I have not weighed since my surgery, my f/u with my surgeon is Thursday. I also belch alot and had a lot of gas Anyone else experiencing this? I can eat eggs, pudding, Low carb drinks, buttermilk. Some soups are OK, except I have to chew the ingredients in the soup now!! I add canned chicken to soup to add protein. I also have some protien powder I sprinkle in puddings too.

I too had surgery on the 9th. feeling pretty good. I also have gas, and hurt if I drink too fast. My surgery was lap so it's not as bad as yours. I go back for my f/u on Thursday. Good Luck and God bless.
