Prayers

Hi everyone. Hope all is well for you. Just wanted to ask you to pray for me on Friday the 27th. Am very nervous that something is going to go wrong or will have complications afterward. Really scared about that. Thanks Laurie

Your fear and feelings are all very normal. I was a roller coaster of emotions before surgery. But the night before and the day of I was calm as a clam. I will be thinking of you on Friday. Renate 2-11-04 -12

Hi Laurie, My prayers are difinately with you. I'm a testimony to the fact that God answers prayer. I had my surgery on Feb 9th and was home the next night. I was a little uncomfortable as to be expected the first night but had a patient controlled morphine pump that helped but even at that I did't need to access it more then 2-3 times the whole time I was in the hospital. Just make sure you do your deep breathing exercises. I feel great. Two days after surgery I was shopping at Sam's club and Walmart. I was a little tired after that but ok. The worst part of the trip was allowing my 18 yr old son to drive me there. I think he deliberately took every corner and hit every bump he could possibly find. The nervousness is natural but if you can stay positive and reflect on God you will be fine. He does answer prayers. God Bless, Anne Holbert
