I'am jumping for joy and at the same time scared to death.I'am a BIG BABY when it comes to pain.I am scared of what it will be like when I come home from the hospital.I have a wonderful neighbor Ann who is going to come check on me.I have a maltese name OPIE who is my shadow. He sleeps on the with me and I have been trying to think of something I can do so he can get on the bed without me lifting him.Any suggestions would be great.Even when I go to the bathroom he lays across my feet. Yesterday I went and bought chicken noodle soup, college Inn broth, baby food, apple juice and crystal light and Jello no red or purple for today only orange and green. I tried to find the sugar free popcicles for the hospital and home but I haven't found the yet.On the chicken noodle soup I thought it would be ok to just drink the juice and no noodles.Any suggestions on that.Any other food suggestions would be great. I am going through stresssful times at home and just writting this morning has relaxed me.I am on my way to a new healthy better and improved life. Thanks for taking the time to read some of my thoughts. Sherry,
Congratulations and Good Luck. I know you will be fine with your surgery. I understand the being afraid. My surgery is next Monday and when I stop and think about it I definatley get scared and excited and all of that. Don't forget to let us know about your home coming. as for the chicken soup with no noodles I think it would be fine since it is a clear liquid if you still aren't sure try the plain chicken broth.
good luck and see you one the losing side.
CONGRATULATIONS!! I AM ALSO HAVING SURGERY THIS MONTH, THE 26TH AND I AM LIKE YOU SCARED IN ONE SENSE AND HAPPY IN THE OTHER....I KNOW I WILL FEEL SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT THIS WGT. I WOULD SAY ANY TYPE OF SOUP WOULD BE GOOD, YOU MAY NEED TO PUT IN THE BLENDER. GOOD LUCK
