Surgery Feb 11 - Pain

Hi Everyone. I am home. I had my surgery on Feb 11. I have a question. I have been home since Friday morning and I am in so much pain from the surgery. I had it done the lap way. I had a hard time in the hospital so when I got to go home I thought it would be much easier. Saturday I started to feel a little better but my Sat night the pain started again. I have been sleeping in my recliner in my living room. But was told today by my Dr office not to. Stating I could do more damage. I just tried to lay in bed and the pain was as bad as the day of surgery. Then I had a hard time getting out of bed. Did anyone go through this. Is this normal. I have to go to my doctors office tomorrow so I will be bringing it up. They don't want to give any more pain medicine either because I haven't gone to the bathroom yet. Thanks for listening. Tina
