HELP!!! PAIN!!!

Hey Guys!! I am 9 days out from lap rny and hernia repair. I have have no problems at all. I woke up from a nap today with sharp pains in my left side. I had a bowel movement today but it was not very good and kinda hurt. ( I can not believe I am telling you that) LOL Could it still be problems with my bowels or should I be worried. I have no nausea or fever just this sharp pain. I have put in a call to my dr. but they have not called back yet. Any ideas to ease the worry till I get a return call?

The sharp pain is most likely gas, and will dissapate very soon. Don't drink alot of water (you take in alot of air), suck on ice cubes. You still are very new. And your abdomen has gone through alot. Give it time. Judi
