Just Came Home Today!

I got home today after one night in the hospital. I am Sore and I have a ton of gas from the air they put in my belly. I found out that my doctor is really quite famous. He was Sharon Osbourns doctor for her surgery. He is a very nice man and a good doctor. I loved my overnight nurse Carrie she was the best ever!! I think this is what you call a whole new ball game. I am still very swollen but I can feel the difference already!! Did any of you came home with brusies from being moved after surgery??

Yes, I also came out of surgery all bruised up, didn't know what it was from, still don't. But congrats on yours! Happy to hear your home and all is well ~~Vanessa

Wow, one night in the hospital. And I thought only two nights was doing well! I had my surgery (lap RNY) on Feb 3rd and am doing pretty good. I wondered about the bruises, too. Boy, they must really grab us any way they can to move us! I had several bruises on my lower abdomen and a couple on my legs. Didn't really bother me that much, just kind of gruesome to look at in the mirror. Anyway, good luck to you Sandra - - glad your surgery went well. By the way, at 9 days out, I'm about 16 pounds down!
