Always Something!!! :-(

Well I'm sick! I woke up this morning with a sore throat and feeling a little achy. I had to go up to the hospital for my pre-op stuff - ekg, chest x-ray & blood work. About an hour after I got home Tammy from my dr's office called and asked how I was feeling. I told her I wasn't feeling too well and she told me my white blood cell count was 13 when normal should be 11. She told me to go to my PCP and tell them that and tell them my symptoms and get them to prescribe an antibiotic. Tammy said that I'll be fine for surgery on monday. I'm going to the dr's office in a little bit. This will be the first time this year but the 3rd time in 6 mos. I've had sore throats and tonsil problems for the past 20 some odd years. I could kick my own a** for not going and getting them out back at the end of last year after the ear nose & throat dr said I needed em out. Now after all that - question: can you get your tonsils taken out after wls? I'm curious to know this because I would think blood would leak into your stomach. Anyone know? Thanks!

I hope you get better, cover up and have your man wait on you...

He is! =) He took me to the dr earlier this evening and I got a shot of Keflex & a prescription for some antibiotics. Hope this clears up by monday.
