2-10 here I come
Counting down the days...
The liquid diet has been more challenging than I thought. It was easy at first and harder as it went on. Harder because I got sick of not chewing and harder because I grew weary of the consistency of the drinks. I found it helped to have several different kinds and flavors. I also found that sugar-free jello and vitamin C drops were helpful. Toward the end here it is hard to get everything I need to eat in. I don't have the appetite and am having to remind myself constantly that I need to drink. My teeth feel icky and I find myself brushing a couple of more times a day. I think it must be because there is not friction from chewing anything to rub the ick off.
My energy level has been down from the reduced calorie amount but walking and swimming has helped that some. I also find that my muscles are more sore after a swim, something I am also attributing to low calories.
Today is my last day at work and I will spend the next couple of days cleaning house and tieing up loose ends.
