Finally after two long years...it's really happening 2/23!!

I won't go into all the sad, frustrating details, but after two long years it's finally going to happen. I was ecstatic when I got my surgery date...actually in shock !! Since then I have been experiencing a meriad of emotions that I hear are normal...sadness , fear , questioning myself , excitment , and most importantly HOPEFULL . Anyone else experiencing this? I am also writing letters to all of my friends and family to tell them how much they mean to me in case something should happen. I don't think God will let that happen after everything I've gone through to get this surgery. If you'd like more information on my "saga" please feel free to check out my profile. Congratulations and Good Luck. My surgery is scheduled for this coming monday 2/9/04. I was thinking that I was the only person with these emotions but now I see I am not. HI SANDY. MY NAME IS JEWELL. I TOO AM HAVING ALL THESE FEELINGS, AND I ALSO HAVE FOUGHT FOR THREE YEARS TO GET THIS SURGERY! MY SURGERY IS SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY 2/13. I CONSIDER THIS MY LUCKY DAY BECAUSE MY DAUGHER WAS BORN ON A FRIDAY THE 13TH. I WILL PRAY THAT GOD KEEPS YOU IN HIS CARE ALWAYS. I AM SURPRISED BY ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE HAVING THIS SURGERY. IT'S COMFORTING TO KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS JOURNEY. I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK AND I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.
