Almost there!!!

I went to the doctor on Tue 2/3/04 and had all my other blood work and stuff and saw the doctor and had some of my other questions answered. Even tho I have this cold he think I will still be able to have my surgery on Tue 2/10. If I don't get any better by Mon I will give them a call... I have my other test for my PCP on Fri 2/6, if all is well there, then it's on... Have not really be thinking about the surgery much today at all, I'll been trying to get rid of this cold. The doctor gave me the ok to take almost any cold med. It's mostly in my head and I have a somewhat dry cough. I really hope this thing is gone by Monday.... Sorry I'm just now posting, but I feel so bad. Just wanted everyone to know how my day went... Linda

Linda, I know how you feel. I was there in May 2003. I have no regrets!!! and beleive me, you won't either. other than giving birth to my 3 children, this is the next best thing I did for myself!!!! as a matter of fact, my weight when I went in for my surgery was exactly as yours. right now I weigh 214-218. I'm losing it slow now, but that's my fault. I just stopped walking and exercising. but I plan on getting back on track!!
