I have a Date! Feb. 19th!!!

Hi all, I don't know about the rest of you but my mind is going carzy. I am so excited and so scared . I thought that my surgery would be in April or May and when I went to the Dr. he said how about Feb. 19th. I about fell on the floor! Haven't been getting much sleep either I just want it over with. I can not wait to be healthy and sexy! If you are scheduled for surgery soon, please feel free to contact me and we can share our experiences. Or if you know of a way to clam me down let me know!!! Hello Debbie, well you certainly sound full of emotions!! I know how you feel. My surgery is Feb. 17. Mostly I am excited but truthfully I do feel scared at times. I pray and ask Jesus to be with me and to comfort and calm me and to give me and my family peace and assurance. That is the best way I know. He has never let me down in 36 years. I am 47 now so that is a lot of years of being there for me. He loves us so very much, if you haven't tried him, you will be doing yourself the biggest favor ever if you will. I promise!! Thank you Sheila for responding. I wish you much success! I do believe in the heavenly father very much and the power of prayer. I am 47 also. Before I went to the doctor that day, I came home from work and prayed a very heart felt prayer. I asked the heavenly father to give me the right answer and his will be done. Then I go to the doctors and he moved my surgery date from April to Feb 19. Yes, I know there is a reason and I will follow. God be with you and your surgeon and family! Stay strong. Debby

Hi Debby! I'm scheduled for surgery on the 19th also, so we will be going through this at the same time! I can totally relate to what you are feeling. I am not sleeping at night and it is all I can think about during the day. Stay calm, breathe in and out, and have faith that this is the right decision for you. My surgery is also Feb. 19th!!! I can't wait! But I am so nervous! I probably won't be able to sleep for the next two weeks. We good luck and we'll talk on the other side!!!!

Hi Krista, We are going to be sooo much healthier. I can't wait. I keep thinking about all the stuff that I will be able to do that I can not do now. whew, there is a lot. I am proud of you for making this big step and I will add you to my prayers. I have been thinking about the initals WLS (weight loss surgery) and I think it should stand for WINNING LOSERS SUPPORT.
