got my surgery date.only two weeks away yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

well im really excited i have my surgery date feb 11th, wow so close lol been having to hurry up and wait and now its just around the corner, how can a person be so excited and scared to death all at the same time. i have read many of the testamonies from people and i am truly amazed at all the struggles that people have overcome and reading that makes me realize that in doing this you have to be strong and i feel like through all the obstacles my life has brought this one will finally allow me to be selfish and care only what i think and want, i feel as if im strong enough to handle all the changes this will bring, and i cant wait to get going with it, funny how we are taught to always want to be on the winning side, first time in my life i have wanted to be on the losing side and boy what a loser i want to become hehe feels good saying that. good luck to everyone in your journey and lets all grab hands and have a sorta hands across america thing and lets all do this together. Always remember we have a special angel sent specially to us from Our God from above, my angel happens to be my surgeon Dr Nye and his staff (oops God sent me several angels) these particular angels will finally allow us to have the health, happiness and peacefullness that we so richly deserve. ill be thinking of all of you and be here for anyone that wants a new friend throughout thier journey into a new life, love and happiness.

Congratulations. My surgery date is on the 11th also. I'm also excited & scared at the same time, so I understand what you are going thru. However, after 2 days of being on this full liquid diet, I'm more ready than I was. Good Luck!

Hey , another person or 2 with my surgery date. I'm so happy for all of us.. I will no longer have so many drugs to take that it fills me up. No more finger sticks to see if I'm overdoing the carbs and no more apnea...and if you have those things against you, then you won't be having all that either. Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and a good recovery.
