Jill, ask to have the chemical stress test. The walking strss test is very difficult. They tilt the tredmill to such a degree it is very challenging to finish. Sally from Miami.

Yes. Chemical test is wonderful. How they did mine was when I got to the hospital they started an IV and then I went into this little machine that takes pics of your heart (being still in that machine was the hardest part) then after that the doc came in and the technician hooked me up to an EKG machine and he gave me (I think it was called) Atamene and it runned in the IV for 5 minutes and your body felt all tingly and a little light headed and your heart rate was speeding up then it was all over with as soon as the 5 minutes was up and that was it. Then of course I got back into the machine that looks at your heart and after that I was ok. But it was over and done with really quick and I heard that the treadmill stress test takes longer and you have to walk and I am just not a walker. You will be in my prayers. shelly

yes, I just took a stress test last week. Please ask for a nuclear stress test. All pre ops have to have this type if a stress test is requred. After please flush you system with water to get the dye out of your system, you will feel much better.
