My date is Friday the 13th, which will now be the luckiest day of my life.

Julie My date is Friday the 13th too. I say the same thing, WE will make that day a lucky day. Have you packed yet? I am so excited I packed last night. My surgery is at Pitt Memorial hospital in Greenville, NC. Wishes of a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery to you. Who knew being a loser could be so exciting.. Delainya

Delainya, I haven't packed yet, but I've been thinking about what to take. I think the rooms at University Hospital here in Cincinnati have TVs with DVD players, so I may take some movies. However, I fully intend on being up and touring around the ward/hospital I had my nutrition class last night and Tuesday my pre-op with the surgeon and next Friday my pre-admission testing, so it's becoming more and more real.
