Had to POST-PONE Surgery

..........weather......... Hello everyone, I had to post-pone my surgery date from Jan. 27th to Feb. 3rd. because of the weather conditions here in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are going through a winter weather advisory storm........Got almost 14 inches of snow.......and the winds are blowing the snow around so there are many drifts out there. I have to travel the interstate about an hour to the hospital I'm having my surgery at, and the winds would almost make it impossible to drive up there because of the snow blowing across the road......well i guess there is a reason why this storm happened today....it must not have meant to be tomorrow.........maybe I'm getting a little anxietious about having it done and just want it over with. I'm think I'm just tired of this waiting. Well hope to have good news next week about having it done........I'll keep you posted on my sucess.well at least i'll be able to soak in the tub a while longer without the pain from surgery............. Hi Paula, Don't worrie about the postponement. Yes it was a good thing it was with the weather so bad. It will be worth waiting for. I am having my surgery next month February 23rd. I live in Arizona and the weather here is nice cool and rainey. I used to live in New York so i know what the weather can do. Try to relax and know that soon it wil be here. Good things come to those who waite they say. The weather would have also affected the mood of the doctor and the staff they would probly have been a little craby.
