My Date is 2/23/04

I will be under going an open RNY in Bangor on 2/23. I am excited yet a little nervous.

Congrats to you! Nerves are to be expected. I am not that nervous yet, but give me like another week.

My date is Feb 26. People keep asking me if I am nervous. I tell them NO. I am so ready for this. As I read last night, the light at the end of this tunnel is no longer a train. It is a new beginning. I am mentally, physically, emotionally, and most of all spiritually ready for this. I am counting the days that I can say I am a looser and proud of it. You will be fine. I will keep you in my prayers.

I have mine scheduled for hte same date and i am so excited. I haven't even felt nervous. I have been so heavy for so long that this is the best.

Susan and Jen-- We are sisters! I just found out my date is 2/23 as well. I am not afraid. I have had abdominal surgery in the past (gall bladder and appendectomy). It is not fun, but it is tolerable and quickly passes. The exciting thing is going to be watching the pounds pass too! My closet is sorted by size--just think--WE CAN GET RID OF THE "TOO BIG" CLOTHES, instead of keeping them for when we regain the weight!!
