Surgery Date is Feb 4 in Fair Oaks, VA with Dr. Anez

Just want to wish everyone many prayers for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery! I'm starting to get a little anxious about the actual surgery, especially after some of my test results came in. I've been told that some of my liver tests are abnormal and Dr. Anez is going to have to perform a liver biopsy during the surgery. They aren't sure if it's a fatty liver or cirosis (sp) of the liver (from being overweight and having diabetis). It feels weird saying this, but I really hope it's just a fatty liver. Marie (my PA) says that if it's a fatty liver, losing weight will reverse it and if it's cirosis of the liver losing weight will stop it in it's tracks. Needless to say, I want the lesser of the two (if I have to have either!!). If I may ask that everyone keep me in their prayers.
