February 26th!!

I am scheduled for surgery on Feb. 26. I'm very happy and very nervous. At times I feel like a basket case---I'm such the nervous nellie. I get weighed one more time before I go in. I NEED to lose some weight, or my surgeon will have my head on a platter. God, do I have to have food "wars" right up to the very end? Maybe I shoud just have him sew my mouth shut!! Oh well, that's where I stand. See ya later.

Rose, My date is the same! My friend Shelly is having it the same day and same place as me! We're nervouse too but I guess that to be expected. Good luck!

Frances, I am so glad to hear your surgery date is the same as mine; AND your friend Shelly too! I hope it goes great!! I wish you all the best and Shelly and I will pray for you now and on that day! Hello ladies, my surgery is the same date as yours. We will have to stay connected and see how all of us are doing. I am not nervous. I am so excited that I can hardly stand it. Five more weeks until I get my life back. What can be better than that? I know I still have a long road ahead of me, but at least I will be 'on the track and in the starting gate'. My surgery will be in Pittsburgh at McGee-Women's Hospital. Good luck to all of you and God's prayers for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery. Pam
