Feb.6th is THE DAY!

My surgery is Feb 6th,2004 and I'm very excited.I can't wait.I just wish my family would support me.They say I'm stupid and I'm going to die. I love them and want them to be happy for me but if not I will go it alone.I tell them I'd rather die fighting then to lie down and die.I won't let them stop me from being happy. Love ya , Amy

Hi amy, my family was resistant at first and one brother still is. But the bottom line is its your life and your the one who has to live with the consequences of not doing the wls. My date is feb 25th and my family is becoming more and more accepting of it. my parents and my wife plan to take the day off work and be in waiting room for me. Stick to your guns and prove them wrong!!!!!!
