Surgical date of 2/17/04...

I have a surgical date on Tuesday, February 17th. I will be having the open RNY, I'm 60 years young, 5'4" 276# and a BMI of 49. I'm very excited to be starting my new life. God bless us all!

Wow, Congrats to you. That is awsome that you are having the surgery. I have tried talking some of my family members into it but they just say they are to old why bother. You go girl. It is never to late to start a new life. My day is the day after yours. What will be will be, it is all part of the journey Dana

Hi Carol I am also having surgery on the 17th and having an open RNY in Minnesota! Sounds like there are quite a few of us 2/17'ners out there! It will be a big day for a lot of us to celebrate!
