counting down to Feb.,5

HI Everyone!...Here I sit tryin to let it sink in that my surgery is less than a month away! I am scheduled for the 11th of Feb..Both excitement and a little apprehension. Thank God I have found this site to express myself to others who have probably gone through most of the things I have suffered through. So I know you all share my joy at the time of becoming a loser and a healthy person. Just wanted to wish all you Feb. people the best of luck and to remind you that this is only the beginning of our journey and that we should embrace the coming Change. Nancy In N.C.

Dear Nancy, First, Thank You for the words of encouragement you sent me! Second, I just can't believe what an amazing Valentine's present to ourselves this year. We will always remember Valentines 2004!!!! My surgery date is 2-9-04. And we both will be in the same hospital. I will try to visit you, but our dates are close. I should be going home on the day of your surgery. But I could always come back to see you! My sister had surgery done by Dr. Cook in July and everything went great. She's already lost 75 pounds and looks great. Also, she just loves Dr. Cook! I will be praying for you!!! Cyndy Simpkins
