Need a shoulder......

My dad is in Iraq at this very moment. It was very hard seeing him off at the airport. I am having my surgery while he is gone. So I will either be post-op and a loser or I will not have woken up. Any way I am missing my Dad very much right now and nobody understands, cuase I am a grown married woman with children. But I dont care I want my dad home. He is not military he just works for it. Dont get me wrong I support the military and I have many family members in it, my dad is an old fat man who should be home with me. Thanks for listening Dana

(((Dana))) It's always hard around the holidays and especially around life changing events to not have our loved ones around us. Hopefully your dad may be able to get back on time for your surgery. He is doing a wonderful thing for our country, be proud sweetie. I know it doesn't make it any easier. Try to take comfort in that you do have family around to love and support you. Your dad will come home to a whole new you=) Take care!
