Got a date - Feb. 9, 2004!!!

Well I've chosen a date. Monday, February 9. The surgeon offered an earlier date, Jan. 26, but I couldn't do it then. I may be one of the few people who actually wanted a later date. (There are items on my work calendar I can't avoid.) I'm really excited. In the meantime, I have a few things to do. I have a pre-surgery class next week, some pre-op testing on Jan. 5 (EKG, chest scan, blood work), and a final pre-surgery class where they discuss surgery preparation, first days at home etc.. I still need to make another appointment with a doctor at the Wellness Institute. I need to discuss any legal issues that may arise in the event something goes terribly wrong (wills, power of attorney, etc.). Add all of this to the holiday season and it will be busy for the next few weeks. I'll update soon.

Congrats! I am with you I wanted a later date. I had to final my daughters adoption in case something happens. Good luck Dana
