FEB 6TH MY NEW LIFE BEGINS
My surgery is scheduled for Feb 6th with pre-op stuff on the 5th. I can hardly wait. What do I have 10, 11 weeks to go. It does seem like a long time off but considering how long I have been overweight, it is nothing. Others I know that have had surgery said that it will go fast and that I should use the time to prepare myself physically and mentally. Besides, where I live it will be good not to have to go out to work the yuckky weather for that period of time! By the time I am feeling better I should be able to get out and walk outside (maybe) and will have the whole summer to walk walk walk!
Hi Kaaren! Are you guys buried in snow yet? We have about 15 inches, making it pretty tough to walk in the unplowed and unpacked snow. But I have 4 horses and my turn to feed them is 5 am. I have to carry buckets of feed across the pasture to their trough, supervise their grain eating so my big guys don't steal the little ones' feed, then haul a bale and a half of hay out for them. The snow is deep in the pasture, even with 4 horses running around in it, so I'm a huffing and a puffing by the time I'm done. Great exercise! We feed these guys in the barn in for the evening feed, but that's my lucky daughter's turn.
Thinking of you and the rest of the February ops! R
