Feb. date
Hi my surgery was Feb 5th and I was 282 on the day of surgery and I am 226 today! My all time high was 325 but I went on one last diet drug for my insurance company (I got down to 276 but was on the upward climb)! Oh I am 5'2"! Some think I am a slow loser, but I am loving life and doing what I am suposed to do so I am no longer worried about it!!
Hi,
My name is Monica. I had the surgery on Feb 3rd, in Fresno, Ca. With Dr. Felix. My starting weight was 440. As of last week, I was 343lbs., 97lbs. total. I will weigh again on the 23rd. I am 5'1" tall. My clothes are getting loser on me, but I can only tell a little difference, especially in my face. But I think it is because of my starting weight.
Take Care,
Mo(this is my nickname)
Gosh, comparing stats is seductive, but truly we all have different bodies and different speeds. I've had trouble with kidney stones which ironically I think has actually speeded up my weight loss. I started at 394 pounds, I'm 6 ft 1" tall and am now down to 280 pounds. Surgery was Feb 5. Haven't lost anything in the last week, so I think my body is finally going WHOA! Still can't stomach protein drinks which worries me, but am LOVING feeling more flexible and more energetic. Be well everyone.
I had my surgery on Febuary 3, 2003. I weighed in at 263. I am 5'7 and I know weigh 195 as of 2 weeks ago. I have gone from a tight size 22 to a size 12 jeans and large tops. It is amazing how losing 68 pounds can make a diffrence. My nephew has been away at college and can home the other day for the summer, his responce was what happen to the other half of you. That really made me feel great. This was the best decision that I ever made.
