Surgery complete

Wow...don't know how I managed to miss seeing this board before.  I just had RNY on January 14.  Today has been the best day yet of my recovery so far, although I can't really say any of my recovery has been all that difficult.  Anyway...just wanted to introduce myself!  Hi everybody!!

Congratulations to you!!! I had my a RNY this past Monday the 21st. All went well, for some reason I am feeling hungry. I am taking my protein shakes and c/broth protein, that should be helping. I did not think we were suppose to be hungry. It could be gas also. I had to wait 13 years to get the surgery because my husbands insurance would not pay, so I was able to get on Medicare and they pay 80 percent. I am so thankful. Glad everything went well for you.
