January 2013 Dates?

My RNY is scheduled for 1/14/13. I am just starting my liquid diet! 

Hello I am Manie. I am scheduled for surgery 1/21/2013 in Greenville SC.  This is my 1st post on OH and I am excited.

What surgery are you having?  I'm having the sleeve on the 22.  We all need to post are progress here so we can support each other.

I would love to have people for support and give support to!!  I am so excited about my upcoming surgery (January 28th)  I have contemplated this surgery for 5 years and its finally happening.  Are you doing a liquid diet?  I have to do 4 weeks of Optifast 800.  So far so good.  I felt a little light headed today, but I heard that its because I was a sugar addict and Being on Optifast, my sugar intake has been cut by 80% and my calories are only 1200 a day.   So I just need to get used to it.  would love to hear from anyone with any advice!!

I have to do 2 weeks of BetterMD (wonderslim) shakes.  This is ~1000 calories a day

I have my RNY surgery on the 21st. Can't wait. I'm on the two week liquid diet now....day 2. The only thing I'm craving is crackers....I don't even care what kind. But I am determined to stick with this diet. This is really hard for me, but they say it gets easier. I hope so.

So many of us are doing pre-diets and many (~20) have already had surgery.  Good Luck to all! 

Wow, a lot sleeves. Where'd you find this?

I'm a spread sheet nut!  Every time some one posted there surgery and/or date I just put in my spread sheet.  Never dreamed we would hit 60.  When I had got my band there was only a dozen or two for the whole month.  The make up is interesting too where there where band are now sleeves.

Lol, that's funny, about being a spreadsheet nut. And I agree, sleeves are the big hype these days! I go over to the vsg board often because its more" livelier".
