Well the surgery went fantastic. The doc said he was able to do exactly what he had wanted and was able to do it laprascopicly (sp). I felt good except for an AWFUL pain in my left upper chest and back. Doc thought probably gas, but I still have a bit of that pain. Also, after the surgery my heart was beating really fast until the next morning when it went back into normal rhythm. All in all, I'm pleased. I had the surgery Saturday morning and came home Sunday night. Glad to be home. I'm able to drink water, which I mix with Fruit Refreshers lemonade, and also drinking protein shakes. I'm tired, but all in all, feeling pretty good. Sooooo glad it's over and on my way back to a healthy weight.

I am very excited to watch your progress! Since I am only 3 weeks behind you it will be good to have someone to turn to for "freshly out of surgery" advice!

My surgery was @5:20 on friday the 13th. I was discharged @3pm that monday.

The only thing I was craving was a big glass of ice cold soda. I never drank much soda. I thought it was odd, I think it was from having the dry mouth for a day. Once you start on puree foods its will be better.

I'm bummed.....I am hungry!!! I am on clear liquids and it is not cuttin it. uggg....thought that i would lose the desire to eat.....UH HELLO.....doesn't help that my family is eatting pizza and cheezie bread....my family sucks....

Procedure is done.....it was done Wednesday and they sent me home Friday night.
Only problem is i feel hungry.....what is up with that? I thought I would lose the desire for food....here I am and the liquids aren't cuttin it....

My surgery is scheduled for January 31st at 10:30am.

Same here is been snowing since I got home. Makes it hard to go out and walk, I will be so happy when my drain is out. I have a appt on tuesday. So far I have been lucky nothing is bothering me or making me sick.
