My surgery is scheduled for this coming Monday January 16th.  Isnt it great the January 2012 forum finally is opened.  Its going to great to meet others who are having surgery the same month.

I am very excited and scared.  I met with my surgeon On Thursday.  We had a great conversation.  I have to be at the hospital at 6am  Love early morning appt.  I cant wait for my new life to begin.

 good luck to ya!  just had my surgery on jan. 12th.....so far so good....alot of gas but drinking my fluids and trying to work through it.  i wish you the best and if i can be of any help, please don't hesitate to write.  i don't have any regrets.....this weekend so far hasn't  been easy but i know that it will get better...praying for the best.

I am happy to hear you say no regrets.  I am sure after its over I will be saying I should have done this 10 years ago.  Glad to hear you are doing well.  I look forward to hearing how you are doing.  I firgure the first week will be hard.  But its only 1 week I can get through it.

My VSG is on the 19th and I am SO not looking forward to the gas!  What are you able to take for it, if anything??

 I just the sleeve on the 13th and I talked to surgeon today and he said I could take gass-x

My surgery is Tuesday the 17th! I'm with ya....excited and scared all rolled into one!

Good Luck Aries  I know what you mean.  Yesterday I was having major anxiety attacks.  But I am much better today.   I know I need to do this for myself I am so unhealthy.
