 ****Any NSV's or SV's.****
I have more energy, and my clothes are falling off.

****What stage are you on?****
normal diet, but I try to stay low fat.

****How are you doing with it****
I'm doing really well now that I'm on normal food. I also have issues with too much fat. I drink soy milk cuz I just like it.

****How much are you eating now?****
About 1/4 to 1/2 cup or a 8 0z shake. 3 meals, 2 snacks daily... I try for that. Some days I feel really hungry and others not so much.

****Any complications so far?****
Just a 7mm kidney stone that led to septic shock. It's now all over, but why didn't they check for kidney stones prior to surgery?

****Where are you emotionally?****
I am accepting, but a little dismayed at my recent stall of 3 weeks. Over all I have lost 50 lbs since my surgery. Feeling optimistic.

****So far what has been you biggest surprise?****
That I woke up from surgery ; ) and my appetite is back all ready, and it's not head hunger.

****What has been your hardest obstacle?****
exercising for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week, each week.

****Anyone tried drinking alcohol yet?****
 Nope.

****Any NSV's or SV's.****
MY cloths feel so much better one me!!!

****What stage are you on?****
Full normal foods ....

****How are you doing with it****
For the most part I am doing ok with it I have an ulcer so it gets frustrating.... oddly enough I have no issues with milk or sugar (though the only sugar I have had is in my liquid Tylenol so who knows) I do have issues with carbs and fat ... they don't make me dump (as is out), but I get soooooooo nauseous.

****How much are you eating now?****
I eat between 1/4 (2oz) to 1/2 (4oz) a cup depending on the consistency of it...I do find that I will try to eat more then I can hold, Old habbits die hard I guess.

****Any complications so far?****
Not really, I have the ulcer, but my doc says it's from eatting too much so I struggle with that. I have issues getting in all my water and protein on a daily basis, though I am better now then I was a few weeks ago.

****Where are you emotionally?****
Honestly a little depressed that I am not losing faster, some days I feel like this (much like the lap-band I had 2 yrs ago) was a waist of money and time, but then I snap out of my funk and realize that I have lost 41 LBS in less then 3 months and that I am the only one who can make this happen for me, its a tool not a way out. All in all I am SOOOOO happy to be loosing at all!!

****So far what has been you biggest surprise?****
This is a hard question for me... my therapist asked me this and I just could not answer it... I don't know that I have been surprised about much, being a revision I kinda knew what I was getting into. I WAS surprised the first time I stepped on the scale and seen how much I lost that first week. I wonder if that counts ;0)

****What has been your hardest obstacle?****
Going two weeks at a time not loosing...GETTING motivated to get out and get up...lol

****Anyone tried drinking alcohol yet?****
I did a LITTLE this weekend... I have a watered down lemon drop matini....it made me flush easier, but left just as fast as it came. :0)

Now your turn!

I live in my Yoga pants by danskin I got at walmart for 11 dollars each. They have a drawstring waist, so as i'm shrinking I can make the waist smaller.

You've done excellent.

I'm at my lowest since I was 18 yrs old... that's 22 yrs ago. That would have been 1989. CRAZY! My body is holding on to each and every pound like it's a life line.... I did measure, 9 days early and have lost 4 inches since March 11. So I have lost something. Just not what I wanted to see for almost a month.

As of this AM, I'm down 58.5 lbs, I've got like 5 lbs till my half way to goal mark! I'm so excited!! everyone keeps telling me that I look great! It's so nice to get compliments! I fit into a size 16 yesterday, for the first time since I was a sophomore in high school--2002-2003 school year. I didn't buy them though, because they were a little loose, and they were $25. but I think it was because it was the stretch jeans. I'm having a really hard time justifying paying full price for jeans when I'm going to fit into them for all of 2-3 weeks. Needless to say, I also don't want to feel slumpish either, when I'm wearing clothes that are too big.

How is everyone doing?

I'm Dealing with some nausea every time I eat. YUCK! I've got a call into my actual surgeon. He wanted me to go to the ER, not happening. I'm staying hydrated. Barely.

Other than that My energy had returned. I feel pretty good, as long as i don't eat or drink

I'm down a total (as of 3/11) of 25 inches, and 51 pounds since surgery.

I'm doing well, I have lost 55 lbs in the 2.5 (or whatever it is now...lol) months. So far I haven't had any complications, minus a bit of fatigue, which I upped my b12 by 500 mg a day, and seems to have cured it Getting my labs drawn this week, tomorrow I believe, and I'll see how everything is going in my blood. I'm so excitd for us!!

I'm doing good.... weight wise, but physically it's a struggle. I wanna start running (my personal goal is to do a 5 k in October). But am still only allowed to walk and start riding my exercise bike again. Remember I'm 2 weeks post op of a bowel resection. I'm down a stead 45 to 46 pounds in two months. My shape has changed a lot. Will measure in a bit. The first month, all over I lost 17 inches. This month is still up in the air.

I'm struggling with protein supplements. They are so constipating, and that is a big problem with my new surgery. My surgeon (one of my bariatric team), actually took me off them for two weeks, to allow my system to heal. That's another few days. I'm eating ONLY protein at this point, trying to get it all in. I manage about 40 a day. One shake would put me over my minimum amount. It's a struggle.

Victories, man walked into church last sunday and had two people (later others) just stop in their tracks, and comment on my weight loss.

I eat a lot of Chobani or greek yogurt as its is high in protein.  I also have fiber one cottage cheese,  or high fiber oatmeal often.  Those are my go-to foods as I know I don't have issues with them and can get some nutrional benefits and can eat them on the go.  I've been doing okay with chili also.   I do have a few problems with chicken.  Other stuff i**** or miss for me at this point.  Sometimes eggs are good and sometimes they are not.
