Topic: RE: 7 Days Till Surgery!!
I am right behind you with 10 days to go. I have been taking vitamens for awhile but they are horse pills and I will need to switch to something chewable. I have heard there are calcium citrate mini's. Anyone ever heard of these or know where to get them? My surgeon has told me to get the Flinstone chewable vitamens and take two per day. What protein source did your surgeon have you start on?

Good luck this week on your surgery. You must be very excited. I pray it goes very well.
Topic: RE: 7 Days Till Surgery!!
I got the samples from Vitalady but thought I'd wait till after the surgery to try them. I keep reading/hearing that our tastebuds change so I figured why waste them now. I have finally found a multivitiam I like....Celebrate Chewables - Grape flavor. Taking those 1 a day to get ready.
I would like to say that I have nerves of steel but I'd be lying. I'm for the most part trying to stay busy and trying not to think about it but when I do it feels like I'm getting ready to give a presentation to 1000's of people. I'm sure when I'm 7 days out I'll be coming back online asking how you did it. :D
Good Luck with the next couple of weeks!

AHA!!! I bet you would have been fuming if it didn't get up until after your surgery!! What a drag it would have been! I understand now. I'll be watching for the February Surgery Date Topic like a hawk now. See what you've started?? Please be careful... I'm easily influenced and will jump on your bandwagon just to show you my support whether I know what the heck you're talking about or not.

Ruthie, they just got this board up and running and we are halfway thru the month. They've had Jan 2011 listed since the 4th of Jan but until the last 24-36 hours it said "I'm sorry, we can't find the board you are looking for"

Wahoooo!!! Ten days!! That's great, Liz. On the 24th while you are having surgery, I'll be having my Pre-op meeting with the nurse(s). I can't believe how many members are having surgery in this time frame. It is always like this? A constant flow?
I wasn't around. What happened to the board?

Hi all you January babie!
I too am happy that our board is finally open. I can't wait to hear from all of you to see how you are doing and to compare our results. Good luck to everyone having their surgery this month. I hope you have a smooth and uneventful surgery.
