My biggest struggle is I wanna graze. That has packed on a few pounds. I'm going for a panni removal on Thursday. I have an all time low of 183, and i bounce between 185 and 190 now. I know not a big difference, and I've earned a bunch of muscle in the last 6 months.

I still struggle to get all I should a day. I still despise protein shakes. I know my body so I will be drinking them for at least 3 to 5 days post op of my panni removal. My pouch gets REALLY tight when I have any injury, or insult to my body. And am now on a nice strong nausea med around the clock. So that'll help.

I still fight with exercise. I hate it. My body hates it is more exact. I enjoy the freedom it gives me.

My goodness, I didn't even know there was a board here for each surgery month or if I did I completely forgot.  We're all past the 18 month mark now.  From what I have read this is where things can get tough.  I know not seeing the scale change as often frustrates me but I try to remember back to a time that I couldn't even see the scale.  Haha that usually makes me feel better.  Let's get this board a little more active and start supporting one another to lose those last lbs and keep one another on track.

What are your daily struggles right now?  For me I can definitely see how easy it could be (or is sometimes) to fall back into old habits.  I just keep telling myself that as long as I don't give up I can always get back on the wagon and recover.

I've developed another hernia. Dr's think it's because of the extra skin. So when they fix the hernia on June 14, they're taking SOME of the extra skin too. Calling it a scar revision. I'm excited and nervous. Excited to get rid of the hernia. Nervous about the recovery.

It's getting harder to lose!  Been working out a lot.  But eating I have been slacking and snacking!!!
I want to get back on track here now!!  I haven't been on the board for many months, maybe I need this to get me motivated, summer is coming and want to look good in a suit.  I haven't been this thin since highschool and I am 41.  I am 5'3 and started at 222 and now 147....wow!

Still in pain, and full of gas. I can't wait to no longer hurt, this pain almost makes me regret my decision. I know this is just a temporary feeling but right now this is how I feel.  How long were you in pain?

Starting weight 360
Ending weight 265
Loss 95 pounds

Guess this would categorize me as a slow loser.  But hell I am ok with that.   Atleast I am a loser.  Been in a stall and have been trying to break free.  At loss for what I to do.  The one thing that I do know I need to do is to kill the carbmonster who's been lurking around.  Thinking of doing the 5day pouch test, but more so as to kick the demon.  Think Friday will be the day.  I work so believe it or not it will be easier to do this for the 3 day weekend.  I am gonna make the split pea and pumpkin sausage soups on Sunday.

Michelle, thank you.

As to my starting weight, that varies depending on if you go from my sign in weigh or my highest weight. I am a lightweight.

When I signed into the surgeon's office, I weighed 205 (a BMI of 35.2 for someone who is 5'4").

However, it is not my highest weight...that occurred in 2002 when I got to almost 250. I did manage to get it down to 205-215 in the ensuing years. But my body was stuck at the 200 + mark and not budging.

I did keep a food log for an entire month pre-op...gained 3 lbs that month and never had more than 1150 calories...most of the time it was between 800-900.

As a type II diabetic on an insulin pump (at the time, no longer on any meds for my diabetes), I was use to low carbing...my body had just gotten use to it and stopped at what it considered a comfortable weight...not my idea but it's.

Here you can see a photo of my highest weight versus my pre-op weight as well as some of my journey.
