Hit my goal
This past week...8 months and 2 days after my surgery, on Jan 24th. My goal weight was 135. Now I am reconsidering losing about 10 more...that would put me solid in the middle of a normal BMI.

Michelle, thank you.
As to my starting weight, that varies depending on if you go from my sign in weigh or my highest weight. I am a lightweight.
When I signed into the surgeon's office, I weighed 205 (a BMI of 35.2 for someone who is 5'4").
However, it is not my highest weight...that occurred in 2002 when I got to almost 250. I did manage to get it down to 205-215 in the ensuing years. But my body was stuck at the 200 + mark and not budging.
I did keep a food log for an entire month pre-op...gained 3 lbs that month and never had more than 1150 calories...most of the time it was between 800-900.
As a type II diabetic on an insulin pump (at the time, no longer on any meds for my diabetes), I was use to low carbing...my body had just gotten use to it and stopped at what it considered a comfortable weight...not my idea but it's.
Here you can see a photo of my highest weight versus my pre-op weight as well as some of my journey.
