anyone else having problem drinking their protein? Seriously until two days ago, I was getting my 60 grams, and then all of a sudden, I drink it, and I want I haven't, but i want to. I am going out and getting some isopure drinks tomorrow. We have a gnc locally that carries it.

Plus I'm seriously bored with chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and banana cream. UGH! I want to taste something.

LOL, I haven't reached bored stage yet but what helps is we got the variety pack from Vitalady and there is about 20-25 different flavors in there. Each pack is one shake so if you don't like one you aren't wasting much. And you can keep track of the ones you do like. Chocolate Truffle is high on my current list but I'm only 2 days out on this and Chocolate was the first one.

Maybe try hers. Website is www.Vitalady.com

I completely understand! I currently can't stand the site of a protein shake! Luckily, my doctor gave the go-ahead  to start eating more foods. It helps, I promise! Something else that I got is a protein shot. They should carry them at GNC. Mine is 42 grams of protein, 0 grams sugar and carbs, and 108 calories. I'm not going to lie, it tastes disgusting, but its only 3.8 ounces and it provides sooo much protein. It's worth trying, especially if you are starting to be able to eat other foods. Also, try making the protein shake with ice and really thick. I also used the zero calorie flavored water in mine and it tasted pretty good! Good luck!

thank you for the ideas... will definitely try them today!

I did go get some carnation instant breakfast (sugar free of course) and will add some powdered milk to it. That's like 23 grams of protein.

from my understanding, the protein shot doesn't have the protein that we can digest, it's got colligin protein and we need whey (preferably whey isolate, as it's easier to digets).

There are these whey isolate drinks that my grocery store carries, they're in the health section of the store in glass bottles. It's more like a gatoraid drink. I've heard people mix them with their crystal light, because they're bitter. They've got 40 grams of protein in the bottle!

they are so bitter. I'll try adding the crystal light, i'd forgotten their names. Isopure. I had to go to the GNC locally.

I can't wait to get most of it by diet.

I had the same problems, but I started making my own in the magic bullet and they taste like I am drinking real fruit

I use 90g of 0% greek yogurt = 10g protein
1 cup skim milk = 9g protein
2 tbsp of plain protein powder from cosco = 19g protein
1/3 banana
2 strawberries
1 tbsp splenda
sometime i add vanilla extract

very yummy and easier to drink than protein shakes

good luck!
Cant wait for that wow moment to come!

How close are you coming to eating all of your protein?  By 2 weeks out, I was down to one shake/day, then by 3.5 weeks I stopped them altogether because I was up to the full 3 oz protein 3x/day (around 60g) that my doctor wanted.

When I did drink them, I found that the Nectar protein drinks were my favorite.  Fuzzy Naval, Carribean Cooker, and Roadside Lemonade (mixed with raspberry lemonade crystal light) were great!  You can order samples, and get a single-serve packet of each flavor.  Use them to decide which to buy, or just keep using sample packs so you don't get sick of one flavor.
