I also had my surgery on the same day.  I was hungry from the minute I left the hospital.  I am having a lot of head hunger.  I made a comment to my husband that my grocery shopping habits are going to change and he commented that why should he have to suffer when I chose to have the surgery.  I understand his point, to a point.  We have two small children ( 4 and 7) and they do not need to be eating all the fatty processed foods that we are used to.  I told him he can buy his own "crap" and hide it.  So yes, head hunger has been a problem because I have to cook other things for the rest of the family.  I hope it gets easier, because I crave everything in site. LOL  I am just glad that I do not act on it.

Gosh I guess I'm lucky, because I am so totally not hungry, and I'm down 20 pounds this morning Just since last week.

This is my second and final wls. I had a band in 08, and failed. I will not fail this time.

I actually have been a little depressed about this for the last couple of days.  I have been able to add a few more items to my diet, but I just feel sooo full after eating a few bites of anything.  It's definately head hunger.  I am really not hungry at all.  I guess being down 21 pounds puts a positive spin on the whole thing.

hey! had my surgery the same day. So far, since Jan 1 (start of my liquid diet), I'm down 24.5 lbs.

The hardest part for me right now is cooking two meals, one for me, and one for my hubby and the kids (10 mo, 3 yr, 9 yr). And then watching them eat it. Also, I have a scale addiction...I just NEED to get on the scale every morning, and then I get down when I don't see the numbers moving Last week, I only lost .5 but i think It's because I was a little dehydrated before hand, and I finally started getting my waters in.

I'm a scale addict also! It keeps me motivated though. I'm planning a wedding for 3/5/11 so I want to be in the best shape possible by then. I just hope I don't lose momentum after that. Maybe the start of swimsuit season will help! I've been trying to cook things that both my fiance and I can eat. I've had to be creative, but it helps when we are eating something similar.
